Well, it’s summer, and that means road trip season. So, a few helpful tricks here to help you feel better during and after your road trip.

The first is to actually use your seat warmer. The warmer your muscles are, the more flexible they’ll be.

Number two is to use a lumbar support pillow as needed. Some seats are more comfortable than others, but make sure you support your low back while sitting for long periods of time.

The last one is to stay hydrated. Our body functions a lot better when it ha- is fully hydrated, and this will actually make you stop more frequently to go to the bathroom, which is great because it gets you out of the car, moving around, and your joints and muscles will thank you.

In addition, just like your car should have a pre and post checkup appointment before and after your road trip, so should you. Get in here before you travel and after you travel, and we’ll get you feeling better.

We look forward to seeing you here at Marcum Chiropractic.
