Driving in Portland can be challenging at times, to say the least. Traffic can be really, really bad. Unfortunately, it’s gonna get even worse for a bit. Starting on September 11th, I-5 southbound throughout the Rose Quarter will be closed 24/7.
This will back up traffic significantly, most likely in both directions on I-5 and on all the major arteries throughout town. Most of the side streets too, especially in North and Northeast Portland.
Please be aware of this going forward for the next month and a half to two months, so you can make your appointments here on time and get to wherever you’re going on time and safely.
